River Winn

Photographer & Adventurer

My relationship with photography started in childhood, when my dad introduced me to film photography. I was lucky to experience life as a homeschooled child with many nature adventures, most of which were spent with an old Nikon or disposable camera in hand.

This love of documenting life and adventure continued into adulthood. My photography business started in 2013 while studying at Eastern Oregon University, and more than a decade later I am so happy to be creating in ways that bring me (and my clients) immense joy.

While I live in La Grande, Oregon, my photography takes me all over the PNW and beyond. When I'm not creating with my clients, I am traveling on the weekends, creating with fiber, and working on my Forest Therapy Guide certification.

This is our family

The most important role in my life is being mom to these magical creatures. We are a neurospicy household, navigating our way through life together with play, exploration, connection, and creativity. Both of my children love the outdoors, and we are often out in the elements looking for flowers or building forts from the never-ending collection of sticks that wind their way into my car.
